Methyltrienolone, also known as Metribolone, is a synthetic androgenic-anabolic steroid (AAS). It is derived from the hormone nandrolone and is known for its extremely potent anabolic and androgenic properties.

Metribolone is not approved for medical use and is primarily used in research settings. It is often considered one of the most powerful steroids ever created, with an anabolic rating that is significantly higher than testosterone. It has an anabolic rating of 1,700-1,800 and an androgenic rating of 4,000-6,000, compared to testosterone's anabolic rating of 100 and androgenic rating of 100.

Metribolone works by binding to androgen receptors in the body, which leads to an increase in protein synthesis, nitrogen retention, and red blood cell production. This results in enhanced muscle growth, strength, and performance. It also has a strong affinity for the progesterone receptor, which can lead to side effects such as gynecomastia (breast enlargement) and water retention.

Due to its potency and potential for side effects, Metribolone is not recommended for use by athletes or bodybuilders. It is associated with a high risk of liver toxicity, cardiovascular issues, and suppression of natural testosterone production.
