Testolone, also known as RAD-140, is a selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) that is currently being researched for its potential therapeutic applications. It was initially developed to treat conditions such as muscle wasting and osteoporosis.
Testolone works by selectively binding to androgen receptors in the body, particularly in the bones and muscles. By binding to these receptors, it activates them, leading to an increase in protein synthesis and muscle growth. It is believed to have a similar effect to testosterone, but without the negative side effects associated with anabolic steroids.
