Stenabolic, also known as SR9009, is a synthetic compound that is classified as a selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM). However, it does not work by directly binding to androgen receptors like traditional SARMs. Instead, Stenabolic works by activating a protein called Rev-ErbA, which plays a role in regulating the body's circadian rhythm and metabolism.
By activating Rev-ErbA, Stenabolic enhances the metabolic activity of mitochondria in the body's cells. This leads to an increase in energy expenditure and fat burning, making it popular among athletes and bodybuilders looking to improve their endurance and lose weight.
Additionally, Stenabolic has been found to improve lipid and glucose metabolism, increase the number of mitochondria in muscle cells, and enhance the production of new blood vessels. These effects can potentially improve overall physical performance and recovery.
